Steve Dever reminded the meeting about the Advanced Energy B2B Conference & Expo, September, 14 & 15@ John Knight Center in Akron. Please go to http://www.advancedenergyexpo.com/ for more details.

The Department of Energy is taking a closer look at Lake Erie and off-shore projects. Some of the grants include:
  • Indiana State University
  • CWRU
  • University of Michigan

Scott Sanders, Earth Day Coalition-Save the Date- the 14th Annual Instrumental Evening for the Earth will be held on Thursday, November 10th from 6-9:30 p.m. at the Westshore Unitarian Universalist Church in Rocky River.

The minutes from the August 11, 2011 meeting were approved.

Meeting adjourned at 1:15 p.m.

Next meeting: Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at the Avon Lake Public Library, 32649 Electric Blvd, Avon Lake, Oh. 44012. From I 90 West, take the exit for Route 83. Turn north and follow the signs (street curves around). Drive over the railroad tracks continuing on Route 83 (Avon Belden Rd) to Electric Blvd (past High School). Turn right on to Electric Blvd. The library will be in the back with ample parking.
