Cedar Center North, South Euclid
The City of South Euclid has closed on the sale of 1.41-acres of the Cedar Center North shopping center to Gordon Food Services. This portion of the former brownfield site, which was cleaned up with the assistance of a Cuyahoga County Department of Development Commercial Redevelopment Fund loan and Brownfield Redevelopment Fund loan, will be redeveloped into a 15,000 squarefoot grocery store.
This first phase of the redevelopment will be located in the western portion of the 12-acre property. It is anticipated that the new grocery store will create 30 to 40 new jobs. Progress on the second phase of the redevelopment is anticipated to begin once the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) negotiations have been
