Storefront Renovation Rebate Program

The Storefront Renovation Program assists property owners within the Urban County with making façade improvements and/or the correction of exterior code violations to their property. These improvements lead to revitalized neighborhood commercial areas, elimination of blight and enhanced livability of surrounding neighborhoods.

The Department of Development (DOD) realizes the value of actively working with community leaders and property owners to reinvigorate Urban County communities. Therefore, the program offers property owners a rebate for eligible costs associated with rehabilitating their storefronts.

Property Owners interested in participating in the Storefront Renovation Program must obtain an application from the Economic Development Director in the community in which the property is located.

Applications are accepted until all funds are expended. The Economic Development Director will work with the applicant to meet city and program conditions that are required for a commitment of funds.

To obtain an application, please contact the Economic Development Director of the community where the property is located.
