Simply said, ‘sustainability’ describes a state where mankind achieves
the capacity to meet our greatest potential today while ensuring
economic, social and environmental health in the future. For northeast
Ohio, this concept is transformative. Greater Cleveland and Cuyahoga
County can be a platform on which to build a legacy of environmental
responsibility that is greater than the sum of its parts; an equitable
balance for our citizens, the business community, and the environment.
