Featured Project: Senior Safety Program - Archive

  Development’s popular Senior Safety Program recently expanded Countywide to include all Urban County communities. Eligible seniors will have grab bars installed in the bathrooms; hand rails on stair cases, and assist handles at exterior doors, other items often installed include transition strips between carpet and wood, or linoleum to prevent trips and falls,  and carpet stretching. These items are provided at no cost to the participant.

Public Notice: Renewable and Advanced Energy Technology (RAET) MASTER PLAN RFQ

ARRA LogoThe Cuyahoga County Department of Development is requesting qualifications from Consultant Teams interested in providing technical services necessary to develop a comprehensive plan for implementing renewable and advanced energy technologies for Cuyahoga County as part of the Master Plan. Funding for this Master Plan is coming from ARRA Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) funds. Completed qualifications must be submitted to the Cuyahoga County Department of Development, 112 Hamilton Road, fourth floor, Cleveland, Ohio 44114 no later than 12:00 noon on Monday, March 8th, 2010.

 

Clean Ohio Revitalization Fund - Public Notice

CORF LogoCuyahoga County is applying for a grant from the Clean Ohio Revitalization Fund to clean up the former American Industrial Buildings and Art Metals Sites at 12369 and 12401 Euclid Avenue, in the cities of Cleveland and East Cleveland. The application is available for review beginning January 15 at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch of the Cleveland Public Library located at 1962 Stokes Blvd., Cleveland, until March 11, 2010.

There is also a public meeting to discuss the application and its benefits on March 10, 2010 at 5:00PM at the MLK Library Branch.
